APPLICATION ADVICE

In order for us to consider your application quickly, it is essential that you return a completed application form to either the address below or submit the following form through The University of Northampton Website. Online applications may not be fully secure, IF THIS IS OF CONCERN PLEASE USE A POSTAL APPLICATION.

For courses where there are optional days and/or modes of attendance, please be sure to specify your preferred choice on your application form.

Please ensure you provide details of your email address so that we can contact you quickly if necessary.

Do not send any payment with your application.

THE OFFER

Your application will be acknowledged and considered by the course tutor who may make either an unconditional offer, or a conditional offer if study on your chosen course is dependant upon examination results from a current programme of study (if you do not meet the entry requirements of the course you will be informed in writing).

You will then be notified in writing that you have been offered a place and you will receive

HOW TO PAY

Full Time Masters Programmes

For all full time Masters programmes, which normally comprise three semesters, the fee for the complete course will be shown. Applicants will be required to pay or to have made arrangements to pay, for the full course before study commences.

Part Time Programmes

For all part time programmes, which extend beyond one academic year, applicants may pay for the course by stage. For example a course which covers two academic years may be paid for in two stages, once at the start of the course and once at the commencement of the second year of study. In this instance students will be invoiced for the fee as set out for the year in which study commences. The stage two payment will be the originally quoted fee plus any inflationary increase as determined by The University of Northampton. In some instances employers or their sponsor may wish to pay for the whole course at the start.

Professional Programmes and students choosing to study individual modules

Where a programme comprises a number of papers, the student will be required to specify how many papers they are studying. If you are only studying a single module/paper you will be invoiced for the full module fee. Should you decide to study further modules at a later date you will be invoiced accordingly.

Methods of Payment

You may pay for your course by the following methods: -

N.B. This method of payment is only available for courses/modules where the fee is in excess of £350 and is not an option for employers or sponsors. Payment is by 7 equal monthly instalments from 1 November to 1 May. The instalments are due on the first day of each month by Credit Card or Standing Order.Late enrolers may pay by the instalment option over a shorter period, but the full fee must be paid by 1 May. For these applicants specific payment plans need to be arranged with the Finance Department directly.
